A documentary about Iran's central desert. I produced, wrote, directed, filmed, edited and created the simulations. In 2019 it won Best Nature/Travel Film at the European Cinematography Awards.

I am a self-taught software, firmware and hardware (IoT) architect. My path began with a Commodore 64 in 1991, and in 1993 I released Barbad, a music composition program for DOS written in QuickBasic.
Since then I have designed and run systems across the web, streaming and IPTV, cloud infrastructure, multimedia, e-commerce and connected devices. I have also founded and managed technology companies in Iran and Canada, so I understand a project from both sides: the engineer's and the owner's.
My interest in technology started in 1988 with electronics: drawing circuits by hand, etching copper boards, soldering components, and learning the software that could bring such circuits to life. That curiosity about how things work is still the foundation of how I advise.
My approach is not tied to one programming language, platform or vendor. What matters is the chain from business need to working product, and choosing each link deliberately.

Photography
Nature photography without retouching, lit only by natural light. Many albums are mapped to their locations, and some photographs are paired with verses of classical Persian poetry.
Avare Farnas, novel
A modern mythological story about love, life, death and the oneness of existence. First published in Tehran in 2001 and republished in Canada in 2013.
Woodworking
In 2017 I set up a small woodworking workshop in my basement in Richmond Hill, Canada, and I document some of the builds in short films on my YouTube channel.
